I DO NOT LIKE JOE BIDEN
Former vice president of the United States Joe Biden has finally achieved a great victory. The Democratic Party has officially nominated Joe Biden as its candidate for the Presidential Election 2020 against Trump.
Biden had been involved in a lot of political decisions for nearly four decades of political career. Unfortunately, Biden's successes paled in comparison with his failures.
This is the reason why I do NOT like Biden. America can never be better with a President Biden, with a lifetime record of doing and saying the wrong things.
His wrongdoings could fill up three dictionaries.
Biden has made many disastrous decisions.
Although we have been discussing a lot about his opinions and deeds on the Vietnam issues, some Biden supporters stubbornly struggle to claim Biden had never opposed the admission of Viet refugees. Of course, their arguments are too lame to convince anybody.
To sum up:
-Senator Biden always voted against any economic and military aid to the Republic of Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He repeatedly opposed President Nixon’s efforts to help South Vietnam.
- Biden never voted for a single dime for any refugee aid budget. He even blocked the bill for helping the refugees twice (18/4/75 -25/4/75), once voting “present” the Refugee Aid bill(6/5/75). He only once signed an inconsequential resolution to welcome the refugees (8/5/75), who were already on American soil, stuck in Guam and Wake at the time. Ironically, the left always use this inconsequential act to justify that Biden had always supported the refugees. (1)
-Except for that useless resolution, I dare anyone to find just one concrete evidence that Joe had supported South Vietnam and Vietnamese refugees during his political career. (please don't be confused with his vote for Viet Cong later on.)
Biden’s stances on China have been so well known. Suffice it to say that he once confirmed that China “was not bad folks” and “was not competition for the U.S.” (2)
Within the constraints of this short article, we would not be addressing the innumerable Biden’s gaffes. The Trump’s campaign team is already making a collection of Biden's foolish speeches, just look out for their hilarious TV ads.
The To Sang Group claimed: “We need a president who supports the Social Security Plan (Welfare, Food Stamps, …) in order to help the old Vietnamese refugees.”
Unfortunately, expecting a great welfare budget from a Biden's administration would be a mistake.
Biden has always advocated cutting social security including Medicare, Medicaid, SSA for over 40 years. In 1995, he officially declared: “When I argued that we should freeze federal spending, I meant Social Security as well. I meant Medicare and Medicaid. I meant veterans’ benefits”. (3)
When asked during a Poor’s People Forum interview, Biden promised that the first thing he would do as President would be to reverse President Trump’s tax cut.
These would be the consequences:
-Some low-middle class who have been exempted from income tax under Trump will have to pay the tax again.
-The upper middle class will pay more and higher tax.
-The income tax for all businesses will be raised.
-The unemployment rates will be higher again.
-The economy will be stagnant again.
-The stock market will crash, so will the pensions fund. (4)
(Please take a look at my first article …) (5)
Joe Biden has always accused President Trump of being the country's most racist president. If Biden is elected president, he would take over Trump's title. Let's take a look at some of his discriminations in the past:
In 1974, Senator Biden cooperated with Virginia Sen. Robert Byrd who was one of the senior leaders of Democratic Party who was found out later on to be a secret member of Ku Klux Klan (an American white supremacist hate group whose primary targets are African American) to publicly raise opposition to the busing policy which was a policy aiming to end the segregation between white and black students. The busing policy was harshly criticized by the White supremacy group. (6)
In the 2020 first Democratic Party presidential television debate, Sen. Kamala Harris brutally criticized Joe Biden for his opposition to the busing policy. Consequently, he was so embarrassed he had no words to defend himself.
In 2006, Biden complained that: “You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent." He was accused of discriminating against Indian Americans because of his foolish remark. So, is it possible that Joe chose Kamala Harris as a running mate just to reach out to Indian voters? (7)
In 2007, Biden even mocked Obama: “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy." What would happen if President Trump said those words? (8)
Biden claimed to have actively participated in the civil rights movement with pastor Martin Luther King in the 1960s. His claim has even been denounced as lies by the leftist media. (9)
He also accused blacks who didn’t vote for him as “you ain’t black”, something that the left media quickly tried to bury. What would happen if Pres. Trump said those who didn't vote for him as “you ain't white”? (10)
When asked about the cognitive test to know if his mental health was okay, Biden snapped at the reporter: “Come on, man. That's like saying you, before you get on this program, you take a test where you're taking cocaine or not. What do you think? Huh? Are you a junkie?” He was widely criticized as implying all blacks were junkies. (11)
CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC HANDLING
From the very beginning, Biden opposed Pres. Trump’s measures to block coronavirus.
On January 6, 2020, Pres. Trump allowed the CDC to warn American against travelling to China because of the pandemic.
On January 17, 2020, Pres. Trump enhanced airport screenings on all travellers coming from China at 3 main US airports (later increased to 5).
On January 21, 2020, the first US case was confirmed in a traveler who had recently visited China and returned to Washington state while the U.S was still busy arguing about impeaching the president.
On January 27, 2020, Biden praised China for their decisive and honest actions against the pandemic. He even encouraged people to keep traveling to China.
On January 31, 2020, Trump issued an executive order blocking entry to the US from anyone who has been in China in the last 14 days. For US citizens or residents and family members. Biden criticized the president for his “hysterical xenophobia and fear mongering” measures. (12)
While the President was fighting every single day to protect American citizens, Biden did nothing but attacking Trump and praising China.
Dr Anthony Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, praised President Trump for his quick measures that had saved hundreds of thousands of American lives. If Joe Biden was the president, the death numbers would have been higher by the hundreds of thousands by now.
Biden also falsely accused Pres. Trump of cutting the CDC’s and USAID’s budget.
Biden had totally supported Obama’s immigration policy since he became the vice president. He always boasted about his high number record in deporting illegal immigrants out of America. Ironically, the Democratic Party is now criticizing Trump for his immigration policy and Joe Biden does not boast about his achievement anymore. When a Mexican American reporter asked Biden whether he regretted helping Obama deporting millions of illegals, he justified wisely: “I was just a vice president". His justifications are enough to judge his flip-flopping character. (13)
When asked about the immigration policy in the latest debate, Biden decisively claimed that the differences between the administrations of Barack Obama and Donald Trump were that Obama didn’t lock people up in cages and separated children from their family. It turns out that the cages were built under Obama’s government, and family separation policy was born under Clinton and widely used under all administrations from Clinton to Trump. (14)
DEFUND THE POLICE
In the wake of George Floyd’s death, rioters across the country were calling for defunding the police. Biden initially looked down to the rioters and praised the importance of the police officers.
Following heavy pressures from the rioters, mainly black and young white progressivists, he joined the call for defunding the police. Yet, after the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) publicly criticized Biden and endorsed Trump, Biden turned around and tried to adjust his position by calling for “redirecting” police funds to social, health, and other uses. How could you “redirect” funds without cutting these from somewhere?
For decades, Biden constantly supported the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits federal funding for abortion under programs like Medicaid.
But under general Democratic outcry, in which it became clear that he was the only candidate in the Democratic party in favor of the measure, he reversed himself, saying he no longer supported that law and deeply regretted his decisions. (16)
For decades, Biden always opposed same-sex marriage and supported the traditional family values. But in 2012, he turned around completely to identify himself as a long-standing supporter of the L.G.B.T Community. (17)
In fact, in 2012, Obama's re-election campaign was seriously threatened by Romney’s. Obama decided to change his policy for the L.G.B.T community to attract more voters. According to the plan, he would hold a press conference to announce his new policy of favoring gay marriage.
Surprisingly, Biden moved one step ahead of Obama by immediately declaring himself all for gay marriage, enraging Obama. Obama almost fired his vice-president, openly reprimanded him, which forced Biden to apologize to Obama afterwards. (18)
Lately, Joe Biden has been accused of sexual assault by his former staffer which is almost totally ignored by the leftist media. (19)
The leftist media brutally attacks Pres. Trump's sexual allegations over and over again, while trying hard to cover up the sexual allegations against Biden.
Although Sen. Kamala Harris harshly criticized Kavanaugh for his sexual allegations and claimed that she believed in Biden's sexual allegations, she still happily accepted the V.P nomination and became Biden's presidential campaign partner.
A Biden's supporter even tweeted that: “If Biden had raped my children, yes I would still prefer him over Trump as POTUS". But it is still nothing to compare with Katha Pollitt's article in which she wrote that she would “vote for Joe Biden if he boiled babies and ate them".
What do you think about Biden's moral ethics when his son slept with his just widowed sister-in-law, and Biden still supported that? (20)
In 1990, after Iraq under Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait, president Bush mobilized an international army of over a million soldiers from 35 countries. The US Congress approved the war. Biden was among the very few senators who voted against the first Gulf War because he was afraid of thousands of Iraq's troops and their use of chemical weapons.
After the 9/11 attacks, the world was concerned with Iraq’s chemical and biological weapons, so the Bush Administration was allowed by Congress to launch a pre-emptive war against Iraq. At that time, Joe Biden was supportive of this Iraq's war.
The U.S failed to find any evidence concerning the biological and chemical weapon in Iraq, so the war was considered a big mistake by the public. Biden quickly turned around to criticize the Bush' administration for the war and accused Bush of lying to him.
In 2010, the New York Times mocked Biden: “When was the last time Biden was right about anything?” (21)
In 2011, Pres. Obama sent U.S troops to Libya to overthrow Gaddafi. He withdrew the troops after killing Gaddafi, leaving a horrible mess in the country. Obama even admitted that this war was the biggest mistake he had ever made in his presidential terms. At that time, Biden has profusely praised (and still does!) Obama for his achievement in Libya. (22)
In 2012, Obama received critical information about Osama bin Laden. He assembled his national security team at the White House to get everyone’s final advice. Options included a bombing or a drone strike or… doing nothing. Biden opposed any action because he just thought that there were not enough evidences that the target was Osama Bin Laden while he was also afraid of enraging Pakistan. (23)
The leftist media has always portrayed Biden as an honest politician with a clean slate. Really?
According to Newsweek Magazines, Joe Biden’s plagiarism problem has demonstrated his lack of leadership, weak judgement, flip-flopping and uncertainty.
At first, Biden’s campaign was mainly on Obama's unfulfilled policies and promised to be the third term of Obama’s presidency. When constantly failing in the early primaries, he did not mention Obama anymore and shifted the campaign to far-left policy like Sander's and Warren’s to attract the progressive votes, especially in the black community in South Carolina. As a result, Joe Biden beat Bernie Sander and Elizabeth Warren. He had to shift his policy to the far-left by promising to cut the student debt, accept Medicare for All, and support the Liberal Feminism in order to win the race. Now, he even used Trump’s “America First" card, calling for ‘Buy American’ to reach out to the conservative voters.
Newsweek also reminded Biden’s plagiarism problem started very early when he was in the Law School and in the presidential race in 1988. (24)
The Sang To Group claimed that Pres. Trump was a coward when he was briefly taken to the bunker during the protest.
So, what kind of Biden's courage has he shown when he has been in his house basement for over half a year?
Biden himself was never accused of being involved in any corruption. But, his intervention in Ukraine and China to help his son Hunter over a million-dollar deal is still to be a mystery.
Please take a look at my article about Biden's preparations. (25)
Biden has made many disastrous decisions for nearly a half century. Even the Washington Post wrote that: “Joe Biden isn't just a gaffe machine, he is the Lamborghini of gaffes.” (26)
Biden wants to be the President to save the U.S, to deal with race discrimination, poverty, immigration, gun violence but he had completely failed to fix these issues in all of his political life.
How could we trust him to deal with Coronavirus pandemic, riots,
Antifa group, BLM movement, economic issues, China’s ambitions in the Southeast
Asia Sea while his lifetime deeds
have been a total mess?
Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates said it best: “Biden had not been right on any major foreign policy for over 40 years”. (27)
